In Judaism the term "Lo Tash'chit means
you should feel for trees as you do for humans. At the Harvest Project we believe deeply in this philosophy however we see it in all life. The trees we plant symbolise the children of the holocaust, genocide and apartheid who were denied an education and life for who they were. Please sponsor a tree today in memory of a loved one, a celebration of just to combat climate change. With every tree planted you receive a beautiful electronic certificate.
VOLUNTEER/TEAM
BUILDING
If you wish to volunteer your time or skill to share a memory with our children please contact us. We do offer volunteering and corporate team building during the planting and harvest seasons.
We help many children and families in Plastic City with various types of support, due to a negligent municipality caused by xenophobia, the community receive minimal support from the system. Support deals with all types of aid, so if you have any form of assistance please contact us. We deal with many fires which leave families homeless so any support helps.
We accept all forms of donations to keep maintaining our NPO facilities and ECD Centre. We also collect clothing, house hold products for both children and adults.
CORPORATE SUPPORT
Our team building activities and tree sponsoring are lovely corporate gifts.
Corporate CSI departments also support our project with different tasks throughout the year such as Mandela Day.
