PROJECTS
1
DOCUMENTARY
PROJECT
Our children take part daily in the Harvest Documentary Project, as it also teaches them the power of a lens and the responsibility of that power. The documentary also follows the story of The Harvest Project as a whole and how the children grow physically, mentally and spiritually through harvesting.
2
GROWING GREETINGS
We have recently started the growing greetings project which is a greetings card made out of seed paper which can be planted at a later stage. On each card we display different artworks done by our children on different topics regarding human rights and conservation. The cards are sold and all profits go back into the project.

THE EDIE & COLLIE FEEDING SCHEME PROJECT
After Blessings Eco Preparatory School had to relocate out of Plastic City because of Municipal Issuesand the risk of losing our Shoprite Sponsorship we are limited now to only assisting 30 children at a time with an education. The Feeding Scheme NPO 229-364 was formed in memory of two charitable Jews Edith & Colman Waner who did a lot for the City of Brakpan and were very proud of their home. We are aiming to assist the other +-300 children in the camp as well as pensioners and elders who need nutrition for medicinal purposes.

5
THE PAPER PROJECT
In Plastic City there are children being born every day in this country, but having undocumented parents creates huge hurdles for these children. We are working on getting our children legal papers so they can have an identity in this world and stop being regarded as lost souls.

THE HARVEST ANIMAL RESCUE
The Harvest Animal Rescue helps provide support to animals based in camps where there is no support. Our project helps educate communities on animal care and respect oppose to just removing animals. Our main goals are to sterilise and vaccinate as many animals as possible to help reduce overpopulation of the spread of sickness. Our care taker Felix started looking after pregnant street dogs which were starving on very little income. When we found out about Felix we decided to provide him with the necessary elements to create a animal base where we could help the most oppressed animals within society as well communities who love their animals but need support to provide their animals with the best care and knowledge possible. We concentrate on providing such knowledge to the youth, the most vital age to implement a change in the way a community treats animals and nature. The rescue relies on donations to be able to make a difference. We also bless children at the centre with animal's as companionship and a form of therapy for children and to teach them how to look after animals. Bolt is the Harvest Centres Cat and he was rescued when he de-gloved his leg and it was amputated. The senior kids take turns feeding him and looking after all his needs.
